IJsselstein: Verlichting van het oude postkantoor In 2010 bestond IJsselstein 700 jaar. Dit jubileum werd natuurlijk uitgebreid gevierd in ons bruisende stadje. Naast alle festiviteiten die er rondom het jubileum werden gehouden, werd er ook een meer blijvende herinnering gerealiseerd. Alle belangrijke monumenten van onze stad werden voorzien van verlichting. Met moderne LED-verlichting werden de monumenten prachtig uitgelicht. Dit is het voormalige post en telegrafiekantoor, dat in 1902 geopend werd. Het pand is mooi bewaard gebleven en krijgt met deze verlichting “de schijnwerper” die het verdient.
